Md. Abdur Raquib

Md. Abdur Raquib is a seasoned business leader with over 27 years of extensive experience in leading roles such as CEO, COO, CTO, and Head of Operations and Supply Chain across a wide range of industries including industrial gases, telecom, cement, FMCG, textiles, and manufacturing. He has a proven track record in business leadership, operational excellence, project management, and organization transformation in both local and multinational companies.

Mr. Raquib began his career with renowned multinational corporations, building a strong foundation in structured systems and global best practices across sectors such as industrial gases (Linde), FMCG (Reckitt Benckiser), Cement (Lafarge) and telecom (Ericsson). Over the first 13 years of his career, he developed a broad and diversified expertise by working with these leading MNCs. Leveraging this valuable experience, he has spent the last 14 years in senior leadership roles within some of the country’s most prominent local corporate groups, successfully driving business transformation, strategic growth, and operational excellence.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from BUET with an MBA in Finance from IBA, University of Dhaka, Mr. Raquib combines strong technical expertise with strategic business acumen. He has successfully led large-scale projects, including plant installations and capacity expansions, and driven business growth and market share improvement in C suite roles at DBL Group, Meghna Group, SSG Group, Partex Star Group, Lafarge Surma Cement, and Rahimafrooz, among others.

Mr. Raquib is recognized for his dynamic leadership style, financial insight, talent development, and ability to build high-performance teams. His international training in leadership, supply chain, and project management further complements his practical experience. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (FIEB) and serves as a guest faculty and advisor on supply chain and operations management.
